Tito Transport is a family-owned and operated transport company based in New Plymouth, with depots in Auckland and Tauranga and freight services covering the North Island and NZ. Shane Tito founded Tito Transport in 2013 after many years in the transport industry. Yes. All freight must comply with New Zealand road transport regulations. If your load is oversized or overweight, we'll discuss the best transport option and any additional requirements with you.
Some oversized or overweight loads require transport permits, pilot vehicles or other traffic management. If these are needed, we'll organise the necessary approvals and make sure your freight is transported safely and compliantly.
Flatdeck trucks are ideal for transporting freight that may not fit inside a standard truck or requires loading from the side or above. This includes building materials, steel, timber, concrete products, shipping containers and many other oversized or awkward loads.
Like most transport companies, we use a fuel adjustment model to reflect significant changes in diesel prices. Any fuel adjustment will either be included in your quoted price or clearly communicated before transport begins.
Our fleet consists of flatdeck trucks, so we don't transport freight that must be fully enclosed e.g. in a curtainsider. However, many loads can be securely tarped to provide protection during transit where required.
